One of the first original refugees to seek shelter within the enchanted forest, his knowledge of the surrounding dangers rivals Shepherd Russé's. He played a crucial role in creating the Escapes, which smuggles orphans from the city in order to keep them from the Warden's clutch—fodder for cruel experiments.
Goren's outlandish stories and knack for making the most scrumptious food from scraps and rations are infamous among the refugees. Some refer of him as the unspoken Father of Orphans.
Interesting Fact: Originally named Remy, I had to change it to prevent confusion. The story had too many ‘R’ named characters.
